Data Analyst

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Junior** **Data Analyst** to join our Data and AI Practice onsite in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will help design, develop, and implement analytics capabilities to achieve client mission goals. You will collaborate with a team of data engineers, data scientists, and data architects to leverage AI, data science, and data analytics to deliver client solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid data analytics skills and a client-oriented approach to applying technology to develop mission-ready data products that accelerate operational decision-making, enhance situational awareness, and improve mission effectiveness.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Assist with data analysis projects, supporting the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI) capabilities.

+ Generate standard reports, dashboards, and visualizations to accelerate operational decision-making.

+ Support the development of analytical models, applying basic statistical methods to identify initial trends relevant to mission data and effectiveness.

+ Aid in developing BI solutions by assisting with the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to enhance situational awareness.

+ Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to understand analytical needs and contribute to translating them into basic, mission-ready solutions, including support for AI-driven analytics and automated workflows.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ BA/BS in Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant Data Analyst experience.

+ Proficiency in at least one BI visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).

+ Familiarity with statistical modeling and data mining techniques.

+ Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.

+ Experience cleaning, transforming, and validating datasets.

+ Good communication and presentation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience analyzing operational data to support decision-making

+ Experience with anomaly and threat detection

+ Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Advana or Palantir Foundry)

+ Experience supporting DoD programs.

+ Relevant certifications in data science or data analytics

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must possess a current and active TS with SCI Eligibility

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
