**Job Description:**

+ Manages boilers and compressor systems equipment to support safe and effective patient care.

+ Ensures the safe and continuous operation of the chiller and cooling towers if applicable to the facility.

+ Responds promptly to all calls for emergency repairs and handles any duty assignments arising in emergency situations.

+ Repairs and maintains equipment in skilled trade areas, diagnosing and repairing system malfunctions.

+ Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, including inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, lubricating, repairing, and replacing components.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

• Knowledge and adherence to safety codes and regulatory agency requirements

• Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies; Ability to maintain inventory

• Ability to respond to emergency calls in a timely manner

• Ability to interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions

• Able to communicate in English

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Education:**

• High School Grad or Equiv or 5+ years experience [Preferred]

**Field of Study:**

• N/A

**Work Experience:**

• 2+ healthcare experience [Preferred]

• 3+ years commercial experience [Preferred]

• 5+ work experience [Required]
