Machine Operator

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Apprentice:

Train alongside experienced Tool & Die Makers
Learn how to set up and run CNC lathes and mills
Read blueprints and measure parts for accuracy
Work with precision tools and equipment
Help maintain tools, dies, and production areas
Take pride in making parts that keep production running smoothly
Cross train in various departments and learn how to operate all of the shop machinery

Requirements for the Machine Operator Apprentice:

Recent high school graduate, trade school student, or someone new to manufacturing
Mechanical aptitude — you like working with your hands and figuring things out
Good math and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and eagerness to learn
High School Diploma or GED required
Mechanical aptitude

Hours for the Machine Operator Apprentice:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with overtime starting at 7am

Pay for the Machine Operator Apprentice:

$17-19/hr to start, with a lot of room for growth!
