Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and location protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, including operational spaces, restricted zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.

+ Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate with Allied Universal leaders and location personnel regarding security-related matters.

**QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):**

+ Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):**

+ Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone

+ Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field

+ Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

+ A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch

+ Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
