**Summary**

The Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure (MSI) team is responsible for gathering,
consolidating and tracking all manufacturing data for Apple’s products and modules

**Description**

We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer who possesses a real passion for phenomenal design, a superb aesthetic sense, and an extraordinary eye for detail. In this role, you will have a deep appreciation for user experience in data analysis and a proactive willingness to learn and adapt to emerging AI technologies. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing AI solutions for our organization, transforming how we manage and interact with complex manufacturing data.

We need a designer with the unique ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. You won’t just work in a vacuum; you will promote these ideas throughout the team, collaborating across functions to build amazing user experiences that make mundane data engaging and actionable through techniques like gamification.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ 7+ years of experience in user-centered design with a focus on data-intensive or complex B2B applications.

+ Proven ability to act as a solo design advocate, capable of driving research and design strategy without a large design department for support.

+ Mastery of design and prototyping software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

+ Deep understanding of information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable user journeys.

+ Demonstrated experience in applying gamification techniques to professional or data-driven environments.

+ High emotional intelligence and communication skills to navigate cross-functional partnerships and influence product roadmaps.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Professional experience or projects involving the integration of AI/ML features into user interfaces.

+ Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Redux.

+ Familiarity with data visualization best practices for large-scale industrial datasets.

+ Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Media Arts and Sciences.
