Product Manager II, Core Data, Google SQL

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.

+ 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

+ Experience with large-scale data systems, or experience with data languages (e.g., SQL).

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.

+ 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.

+ 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.

+ 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

+ Experience in building and fostering product ecosystems, developer tools, or platform products, with a focus on improving integration models and optimizing usage.

+ Experience developing product strategies for integrating AI features or enabling partners to build AI-based products.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Explore opportunities to improve GoogleSQL’s integration model and optimize the team’s operations and insights into end-user usage of the product’s features.

+ Partner and lead engagement work streams with the many teams developing products that integrate with GoogleSQL across the company - from internal platforms to public-facing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) offerings.

+ Establish a roadmap of GoogleSQL-related features shipping across the ecosystem, balancing partner team requirements with available bandwidth and initiatives.

+ Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate.

+ Understand markets, competition, and user requirements.
