As a **Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Console** in **Sterling, VA** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities from a dispatch post within a technology-focused location.

+ Monitor cameras, alarms, phones, radios, and/or other dispatch systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Coordinate communications between on-site personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or emergency responders, helping to support timely reporting and response to security-related concerns.

+ Document incidents, service requests, and/or unusual activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems with clear and accurate detail.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by location.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
