**SALARY:** $25.00-$30.00 per hour

**SHIFT:**

+ Days: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm

+ Afternoons: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

+ Nights: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am

**ROLE SUMMARY:**

This role works under the direction of the on-shift Security Operations Center Supervisor. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and property by actively monitoring surveillance systems, managing access control, and coordinating emergency response efforts. Additional duties include reviewing and completion of badge requests and answering incoming calls to the SOC. The ideal candidate possesses sharp attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**System Monitoring & Surveillance**

+ Actively monitor live CCTV camera networks and video walls to detect suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry, or safety hazards.

+ Monitor automated building management, fire alarm, and intrusion detection panels.

+ Conduct routine system health checks to ensure all cameras, sensors, and communication channels are fully functional.

**Incident & Emergency Response**

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming emergency calls and duress alarms.

+ Evaluate alarms quickly to differentiate between false alerts and actual security breaches.

+ Dispatch on-site security officers, mobile patrols, or technicians to specific locations as required.

+ Contact and coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and medical services during critical incidents.

**Access Control & Operations**

+ Manage electronic access control systems by remotely operating gates, turnstiles, and secure doors.

+ Verify identities via intercom and video verification to grant entry to employees, visitors, and vendors.

+ Program, issue, and revoke digital access badges and visitor passes.

**Reporting & Documentation**

+ Maintain an accurate, chronological digital log of all shift activities, system events, and alarms.

+ Draft comprehensive, factual incident reports detailing security breaches or medical emergencies.

+ Archive and retrieve video footage for internal investigations or law enforcement requests.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is favorable.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security control room, dispatch center, or high-security corporate environment.

+ Experience as a law enforcement Officer is also a consideration

+ Excellent verbal communication, and the ability to multitask effectively in a team environment.
