Security Officer Evenings Full Time

As a **Security Officer Patrol Specialist** in **Spruce Pine, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a caring, team-oriented approach that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative culture and commitment to integrity.

**Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour**

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to site procedures, helping to support authorized movement of personnel, contractors, and deliveries.

+ Observe site conditions and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations that could impact daily operations or require follow-up.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
