Senior Member Insights Analyst

**Position Purpose:** Responsible for analytical data needs for the business to drive member retention and satisfaction. Leverage advanced analytical techniques and collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights for retention strategies and initiatives. Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts.

+ Collaborate with on-team data scientists and analytics engineers to review machine learning model outputs, identifying key trends and insights related to member behavior and retention

+ Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders

+ Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources

+ Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management

+ Develop reports and deliverables and make recommendations to management

+ Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools

+ Lead the continued evolution of insights and analysis practices andmethods with senior leaders through education, advocacy, key stakeholder relationships, and thought leadership

+ Ensure stakeholder engagement by providing training and reference documentation, gathering feedback on the effectiveness of deliverables

+ Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis

+ Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts

+ Assist with determining work load and related activities for other Data Analysts

+ Performs other duties as assigned

+ Complies with all policies and standards

**Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation.

**BUSINESS ANALYTIC:** Bachelor’s degree preferably in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 6+ years of statistical analysis experience. Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for data analysis and

machine learning, such as Python or R preferred. Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, classification, regression, clustering, and feature engineering preferred. Ability to apply causal inference methods to estimate treatment effects and guide decision-making processes preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation. Encounters experience preferred.

Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
