**Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related policies at the location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic and gate activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors regarding site rules, restricted areas, and reporting procedures.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
