**Position Scope:**
The Manager Maintenance Planning reports to the Maintenance Execute Manager and leads/participates in the delivery of safe effective Maintenance Planning/Scheduling for Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation corrective and preventive work. This position is a working manager role, performing and managing maintenance work management activities. Assure effective planning to achieve timely repairs. Conduct 1-1s with employees to provide guidance and development.
**The Job You Will Perform:**
+ Supervise 13 maintenance planners.
+ Work in close partnership with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability to develop and load into SAP Maintenance Strategies and Job Plans to ensure equipment performs as intended and without failure.
+ Perform job cost estimating (material and labor).
+ Facilitate the Scheduling of Work Orders with field technicians and service providers.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including related technical, functional, and business teams.
+ Create and maintain training materials as well as conduct training sessions for end-users
+ Provide first level support to users for SAP PM related issues, including triage and escalation of technical problems.
+ Provide data mining in support of our Planning KPI's to achieve excellence in Planning and review monthly KPI reports.
+ Assist planning team members verify appropriate material(s) associated to Job Plan scope.
+ Maintain the SAP Job Plan library to streamline future planning
+ Act as a subject matter expert for the Work Management process for the resources they support.
+ Deep knowledge of Planning and Scheduling in SAP PM
+ Manage backlog

**Required Experience:**
+ Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
+ Leadership qualities (Lead by example)
+ Able to multi-task in a stressful environment
+ 15+ years of direct experience in Planning & Scheduling Maintenance
+ 5+ years of Resource Scheduling. (such as Prometheus)
+ Knowledge on Maintenance Strategies, Philosophies, & PM Optimization methods
+ Create/Validate Maintenance Items & Plans
+ Create/Validate Task list and Standard text
+ Understanding of Workflows of Plant Maintenance system
+ Bill of Material creation and assign to task list
+ Knowledge of preventive maintenance, maintenance plans, time/strategy-based Maintenance, breakdowns, and all types of repair processes.
+ Knowledge of all master data objects required to support SAP PM (bills of material, equipment Master, functional locations, Work Center etc.).
