We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is a self-starter, daring, and willing to question
assumptions, to design, scale, and evolve the critical systems that power Apple’s global pricing. You will have the courage and experience to be frank and ambitious, yet humble enough to listen to others, as you take on problems under deadlines and deliver turnkey solutions.

+ 6+ current and industry years experience of crafting, implementing, and supporting highly scalable backend applications.

+ Meaningful experience with SQL & NoSQL technologies (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra) and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka).

+ Ability to design and establish coding patterns/standards across multiple code repositories.

+ Proven track record to re-architect an expansive codebase while transitioning to new technologies/frameworks.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

+ Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, LLM-based workflows).

+ Experience with caching strategies, observability tooling, and system performance tuning.
