Resident Assistant

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

The Resident Assistant is responsible for all assigned duties related to the care, well-being and safety of the residents. Responds to residents' needs and provides residents with assistance in daily activities. Assists in

orienting and training staff members.

**Job Requirements**

**Minimum:**

+ One (1) year experience as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility in the past 5 years

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support - (BLS-CPR)

+ First Aid (FAC)

+ Ability to read, write, understand and communicate clearly in English.

+ Ability to demonstrate basic math skills.

**Preferred**

+ Six months experience caring for senior population

+ Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, (CNA)

**Pay Range**

$24.44 - $27.92 /hour
