Meet the Team
Cisco is seeking a strategic leader and compelling storyteller with a visionary outlook to drive strategy and multi-functional execution for our most prominent product launches and events, ensuring our most significant innovations reach a global audience.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with Product Management, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Engineering, crafting the future of Cisco by solving complex challenges and architecting solutions and messaging that move the business forward. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where you will work closely with executive leadership and influence decisions at the highest levels. If you excel in high-visibility, high-impact roles and enjoy leading through ambiguity, this is your chance to create a lasting impact on Cisco’s Data Center and Mass-Scale Infrastructure business, Security business, and the company as a whole.
Your Impact
In this role, you’ll serve as the central driver for Tier One GTM launches and events, aligning stakeholders, setting direction, and ensuring cohesive execution across the organization. You won’t own every piece of the launch or event—and that’s by design. Instead, you’ll pull together the right leaders and teams, set the strategic course, and direct the collective effort to deliver maximum impact.
This position offers outstanding executive visibility and the chance to shape Cisco’s most visible moments. Success here means influencing outcomes that matter, driving clarity amid complexity, and championing the multi-functional collaboration that defines Cisco’s greatest achievements.
Responsibilities
* Define objectives, messaging, metrics, and campaign frameworks for Tier One launches and events in partnership with product, marketing, and executive teams.
* Develop high-impact messaging and content to elevate Cisco’s market presence and ensure alignment across all channels.
* Lead multi-functional teams—marketing, product, sales, comms, operations, and vendors—ensuring alignment and flawless execution.
* Prioritize, guardrails, and a unified customer experience across all launch workstreams.
* Act as the central point of accountability, drive visibility and progress, and manage risks and resolve issues without direct ownership of every task
* Communicate plans, milestones, and results to senior leaders; support executive reviews and decision-making.
* Lead post-launch retrospectives, measure performance, and champion takeaways for continuous improvement.
* Improve launch frameworks, tools, and playbooks for repeatable Tier One GTM success.
Minimum Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, mass-scale infrastructure and/or security in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Technical Marketing
* 5+ years of experience leading B2B GTM programs in product marketing, event marketing, or related roles within the technology sector
* BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - MBA/Master’s Preferred
* Proven success developing and executing Tier One launch strategies—including messaging, launch execution, logistics, vendor management, and post-event engagement
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong experience with executive-level messaging and C-suite presentations
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail
