As a **Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol** in **San Francisco, CA** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $33.06 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details.

+ Support emergency response activities, assist with direction during building issues and/or evacuations, and communicate clearly with site contacts, emergency personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
