**MANTECH** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Electronic Technician** to join our team in **San Diego, CA.** This is an **on-site** position.

+ Support teams performing installs, maintenance, repairs, overhauls, troubleshooting, and the tests of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices

+ Troubleshoot field equipment failures, documentation of maintenance and troubleshooting procedures

+ Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting or assessment of electronic equipment

+ Work and perform at government and contractor facilities with little supervision, receiving technical guidance from project managers, where awareness is critical, and the highest level of safety and caution must be exercised to eliminate risk

+ Working alongside engineers to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems

+ Prepare technical reports, documentation, and manuals related to engineering projects

+ Ability to read and comprehend preventive maintenance documents and procedures

+ 4+ years of professional experience as an Engineering Technician; an additional 4+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement

+ Demonstrated technical experience with AC/DC circuits, and HF/VHF/UHF installation and/or troubleshooting

+ Education or formal training in electronics to include electronic equipment installation soldering, cable dressing, and building/repairing connectors
