Elite Security Officer - Part Time Armed

As a **Elite Security Officer - Part Time Armed** in **San Antonio, TX** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat05:15 PM - 11:30 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or management when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while documenting observations, completing required reports, and communicating relevant information to site leadership.

+ Carry authorized firearm and/or defensive equipment in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal policies, and applicable laws while performing assigned duties.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
