**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $21.90 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the campus location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and assist with directions, escorts, and general inquiries while following post orders and location protocols.

+ Support day-to-day campus operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Baton certification is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid are preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
