As a **Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Gatehouse** in **Saint Ann, MO** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with established security-related policies.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, challenging unapproved entry attempts when appropriate, and reporting security-related concerns promptly.

+ Support daily operations by assisting with badge checks, key and/or access device accountability, and screening procedures for personnel, packages, and/or deliveries based on location requirements.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
