**Job Description:**
**Work Schedule: 4-5 shifts per week. Call required once every 8 -10 weeks.**
+ Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols while ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards.
+ Reviews patient history, verifies exam appropriateness, and follows patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to imaging.
+ Operates CT imaging equipment safely and administers IV contrast materials while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
+ Maintains accurate and timely documentation within EMR and PACS systems and completes exams efficiently to support workflow.
+ Practices infection control standards, uses approved PPE and disinfectants, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.

• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures
• Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff
• Demonstrates the ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department
