The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for general administrative and office support tasks including but not limited to production data collection and reporting, scheduling and coordinating meetings, inventory monitoring, preparing documents and reports. The Administrative Coordinator works in an office environment but will also go out in Mill operating areas. A fast-moving environment that requires adaptability to unexpected changes; daily task prioritizing of duties; must be flexible and able to work to meet mill and corporate schedules.
**The Job You Will Perform:**
+ Provide overall organization to Operations Manager and Mill Manager.
+ Help answer phones, greet guests, and maintain Outlook calendars.
+ Assist with planning, coordination and reporting.
+ Provide general support and communication to staff and management.
+ Proficiency in Windows based software programs; in particular, spreadsheet, presentation and database programs are required.
+ Additional communications responsibilities may be assigned to support business needs.
+ Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm is essential.
+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, perform effectively under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing work conditions.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Must have a high school diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of three years of experience in secretarial, bookkeeping, or administrative duties.
+ Ability to surface issues and handle sensitive and confidential information in an efficient and professional manner.
+ Ability to be at work when scheduled and be on time.
+ Must possess a high level of diplomacy, tact, and judgement as well as an upbeat and positive attitude.
+ Ability to learn new skills quickly, work under pressure, work overtime as required, solve problems effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
+ Superior organizational skills with a high quality of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and verbal communication.
+ Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
+ Demonstrate high level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ Ability to be proactive and self-directed while working professionally in a team environment to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
