_The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering team, where they will work on the Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) suite of products as a Test Engineer._
**_What You’ll get to Do_** **_:_**
_Researches, designs, develops, tests, and identifies improvements / corrective actions for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Lasers, Laser Transmitters, Ultraviolet sensors, Infrared sensors, system Processors along with an assortment of test equipment and associated systems._
+ _Troubleshooting production hardware to determine the root cause of failures and identify corrective actions_
+ _Support production floor and test technicians_
+ _Lead/support non-recurring (NRE) projects_
+ _Optimizing processes to reduce costs and increase throughput_
+ _Maintaining processes and procedures in accordance with ISO standards_
+ _Working with suppliers to resolve technical hardware issues_
+ _Creating and analyzing metrics/data analysis_
+ _Hardware integration and test_
+ _Create engineering documentation (change notices, parts lists, bills of materials, test reports, test procedures)_
+ _Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills_
+ _Proficient in MS Office_
**_Basic Qualifications_** **_Electrical Engineer, T2_** **_:_**
+ _Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology_ _with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or Master of Science (MS) degree in an equivalent field._
+ _Experience with troubleshooting electronic hardware - basic RF or Digital troubleshooting._
+ _Working knowledge of test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power supplies, network analyzers, etc._
+ _The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance_
+ _U.S. Citizen_
**_Preferred Qualifications Electrical Engineer, T2_** **_:_**
+ _Experience with lasers and optics_
+ _Experience with Data analysis and root cause / corrective actions_
+ _Experience in troubleshooting test stations_
+ _Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing unit hardware_
+ _Experience in coding to create scripts/automation_
+ _Experience in Python / C# is a plus._

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
