**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identity and/or authorization, and document visitor activity in accordance with location policies.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual activity, and observe conditions that may require follow-up.

+ Support a respectful and professional environment by communicating clearly with residents and staff, assisting with directions and questions, and following post orders for shelter operations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
