RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (Days)

**Position Details:**

+ **Location:** St. Joseph's Hospital South, 6901 Simmons Loop, Riverview, FL 33578

+ **Status:** Full time, Monday- Friday

+ **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

+ **On Call:** Yes

+ Always in person

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

+ RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

+ RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

+ RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

+ RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position we prefer a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer a minimum of one-year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred.

**Requirements:**

+ RN (Registered Nurse) License

+ Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

+ BSN or higher preferred

+ BLS certification

+ ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

+ PALS certification with the American Heart Association preferred

+ **Required Experience:** 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
