**Job Description:**
+ Requires scheduling flexibility (days/evenings/weekends), with majority dayshift. No Holidays
+ IBCLC certification required
+ Assesses and evaluates breastfeeding effectiveness of Mother/Baby dyads while valuing Family Centered Care concepts.
+ Documents effectively in a timely manner, allowing for continuity of care with co-workers.
+ Functions effectively with fluctuating patient census, prioritizing and managing day-to-day work.
+ Provides breastfeeding plans for discharge.
+ Advises and recommends standards of care regarding management of breastfeeding problems using extensive breastfeeding knowledge.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]
• Ability to use Interpreter service appropriately [Required]
• Additional languages preferred, especially Spanish [Preferred]
**Work Experience:**
• 2+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Required]
• 3+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Preferred]
**Licenses and Certifications:**
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred]
• IBCLC certification (Required)

$31.55 - $58.69
