**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods.

+ Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks.

+ Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.

+ Trains and orients selected staff on food production along with safety and sanitation practices.

+ Leads production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility.

+ Performs other duties as necessary.

**Experience**

+ **Required:** 4 years as a Cook / 2 years with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma

+ **Preferred:** 2 years in Healthcare

**Education**

+ **Required:** High School Diploma or Equivalent

**Certification**

+ **Required:** ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
