We are a full-service hospital offering outpatient services, intensive care, a 24-bed maternity unit, imaging, lab, surgical services, and more, in a relaxing, family-centered environment.

**Acute Care Physical Therapist Assistant Key Responsibilities:**

+ Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.

+ Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional ADL (Activities of Daily Living) mobility interventions.

+ Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising therapist.

+ Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support recovery.

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and occupational therapists.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

+ Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.

+ Adhere to infection control and hospital policies.

**Qualifications:**

+ Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
