**Position Summary**
We are seeking an experienced **Epic Security Analyst** to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Epic security access and provisioning processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Epic security architecture, role-based access controls, user provisioning, and provider record management. This individual will partner with operational, clinical, compliance, and technical teams to ensure secure and efficient access to Epic applications while maintaining regulatory and organizational security standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design, build, maintain, and support Epic security classes, templates, and user access configurations.
+ Lead and support implementation of **Role-Based Access (RBA)** methodologies across Epic applications.
+ Configure and manage Epic security access aligned with organizational policies and least-privilege principles.
+ Maintain and support user provisioning processes, including onboarding, transfers, role changes, and terminations.
+ Manage and maintain **EMP** and **SER** records to ensure accurate provider and user access management.
+ Develop, analyze, and troubleshoot complex security workflows and access issues.
+ Support security audits, compliance reviews, and access validation activities.
+ Collaborate with operational, clinical, and IT stakeholders to define appropriate access models and workflows.
+ Create and maintain security documentation, standards, procedures, and training materials.
+ Participate in project planning, testing, go-live support, and optimization efforts related to Epic security.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of Epic application experience, with a strong focus on Epic Security.
+ Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with:
+ Epic EMP records
+ Epic SER records
+ Epic Role-Based Access (RBA) design and implementation
+ User provisioning and access management
+ JCC (Job Class Configuration)
+ ATAT (Access Template Administration Tool)
+ Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide Epic security models.
+ Strong understanding of security governance, access controls, and audit requirements.
+ Experience supporting large-scale Epic environments and complex user populations.
+ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Epic Security Certification.
+ Experience supporting multiple Epic applications and integrated workflows.
+ Prior experience with access remediation, security optimization, or Epic implementation projects.
+ Healthcare industry experience within large provider, health system, or academic medical center environments.
+ Knowledge of compliance requirements related to healthcare information security and HIPAA.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
