LAN / WAN Analyst

**MANTECH** seeks a skilled and mission-driven **LAN/WAN Analyst** to join our team in **Quantico, VA.** Analyze and evaluate foreign network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, satellite, and other data communications systems. Includes telecommunications specialists who deal with the interfacing of computer and communications equipment.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Analyze and prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, and associated technologies of foreign networks.

+ Assess and identify vulnerable areas of foreign network systems such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires

+ Assess and identify significant risk characteristics of the foreign network systems such as classification of network, baseline activity, architecture, operating system, services, connectivity and bandwidth.

+ Develop and utilize new research methodologies and refine traditional techniques to identify intelligence gaps.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree (STEM preferred) and at least 4 years of network experience.

+ Extensive knowledge of Foreign Command & Control (C2) Systems

+ Understanding of communication network layouts and recovery options

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with analyzing red systems

+ CompTIA A+ certification

+ CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)

+ CompTIA Network+ certification

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ An active TS/SCI clearance is required to perform this role.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
