**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports our patients' well-being and recovery, with a positive attitude and reliability.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. + Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.

+ Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.

+ Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.

+ Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.

+ Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.

+ Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.

**Job Requirements**

**Required**

+ Two (2) years of general RN care experience

+ Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

+ Valid compact state or Arizona RN license

+ American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider

+ American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age

+ Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position

**Preferred**

+ Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care or critical care experience

+ Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
