**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $19.76 / Hour**

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating clearly with staff, guests, and public agency representatives.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for maintenance, security-related, and/or operational concerns.

+ Support vehicle and pedestrian screening processes, provide directions and policy guidance, and help maintain orderly access flow for authorized personnel and visitors.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
