As a **Security Officer Patrol Driver** in **Point Comfort, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, controlling entry and exit points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor access control points at a chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, and documenting authorized entry and exit activity.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.

+ Complete required logs, reports, and access records, and follow site policies for keys, badges, restricted areas, and contractor and/or vendor movement.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
