Veterinary Technician

As part of this mission, Chewy Health is hiring a Veterinary Technician in our Florida offices to help us build a suite of services that enable pet parents to engage with their veterinarian through every step of their pet parent journey. This position is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most dynamic and innovative teams at Chewy.

What You'll Do:

· As a Veterinarian Technician you will set the bar for providing high-level, competent veterinary medical care and embodying the Chewy culture to work collaboratively with your peers and deliver the pet parent WOW experience.

· Be an advocate for high-quality pet healthcare while embodying the Chewy culture to work collaboratively with your peers and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

· Collaborate with Chewy Health team members on the development of current and new services and products.

· Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health, while championing proactive and consistent pet healthcare

· Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures.

· Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements.

· Leverage accredited skills to develop programming, policies and services that deliver an unparalleled client experience.

What You'll Need:

· Successful completion of an accredited veterinary technology program and current licensure is preferred.

· 1+ years of veterinary technician experience.

· Proficient computer skills, as this role will require interacting with customers and Chewy team members through various digital channels.

· Proven experience in embracing forward thinking and curiosity.

· Exemplary listening and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to multitask comfortably.

· Experience collaborating with, utilizing a team-oriented environment.

· Passion for helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment
