**Position Summary**

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules. The successful candidate will have a strong background in scripting with JavaScript, configuring ServiceNow workflows, and integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs and MID servers. Ideally, the candidate will also have experience with ServiceNow's Flow Designer, Service Portal customization, and CMDB best practices. This position is essential for delivering secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that streamline IT operations, enhance service delivery, and support organizational goals.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**ServiceNow Engineering**

+ Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.

+ Build and enhance workflows, forms, and custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and Flow Designer.

+ Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID servers.

+ Continuously optimize ServiceNow solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.

**ServiceNow Solution Development**

+ Architect and implement ServiceNow modules to enable automation, service delivery, and IT operations management.

+ Leverage key ServiceNow capabilities such as Business Rules, Script Includes, and ACLs (Access Control Lists) to ensure secure, consistent, and reliable solutions.

+ Develop and customize Service Portals, dashboards, and reports to improve user experience and enable real-time insights.

**Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Governance**

+ Implement and manage ServiceNow CMDB to maintain an accurate and centralized repository of IT assets and relationships.

+ Configure CMDB discovery tools and ensure effective data governance, compliance, and auditing practices.

+ Set up role-based access controls, data security protocols, and ensure proper data lineage and tracking.

**DevOps & Automation (Preferred)**

+ Integrate ServiceNow development with DevOps pipelines using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms.

+ Automate workflows, incident management, and service catalog provisioning using ServiceNow Orchestration.

+ Collaborate with DevOps teams to define and implement CI/CD practices for ServiceNow code deployments.

**Teamwork & Communication**

+ Collaborate with IT stakeholders, process owners, and business partners to gather requirements and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.

+ Mentor and support junior engineers in ServiceNow platform customization, scripting, and best practices.

+ Document workflows, configurations, and system changes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing across teams.

**Required Qualifications**

+ 3-5 years System Engineering experience.

+ Experience in building multiple versions systems addressing performance and scale.

+ Experience developing technical documentation on applications and systems.

+ Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams.

+ Experience with ServiceNow development and configuration

+ Experience working with out-of-the-box and scoped applications

+ Experience with JavaScript and GlideRecord

+ Experience with ServiceNow HRSD and WSD modules

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Our Senior Applications Development, earns between $118,800-$178,200 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

$106,100.00 - $178,200.00
