Data Operations (Multiple Positions Available)

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Conduct, facilitate, and drive advanced analytics disciplines to uncover relational qualities leading to new questions and solutions through data collection, integrity, utilization, requirements, and analysis. Architect and design data implementation patterns and engineered solutions using native cloud capabilities that span data ingestion and integration, data storage, data prep and processing, master and reference data management, and data consumption. Evaluate data storage platforms to transfer, validate, and analyze large data sets using AI and Machine Learning tools. Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data catalogs, and ensure they are classified with metadata to enable understanding and control. Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition. Provide oversight of all development tasks and production release cycles, leveraging Agile methodologies. Establish expectations for the required accuracy, completeness, and timeliness within data for transformation and optimization, enabling Operations Management to execute their strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with controls, policies, and mitigating risk. Collaborate with automation teams to ideate transformation product capabilities, develop a centralized data management strategy, enable integration between data and other content types, and establish process design and automation for product request intake and execution. Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to achieve business objectives and facilitate growth and career planning for direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Advanced data analysis with structured and non-structured data; Cloud storage in AWS-S3; designing and developing visualization tools including Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI; designing databases through relational database principles; OLAP software and star schema design; Performing data manipulation, data structuring, data flow design and query optimization using programming languages including SQL, CTE, Window functions, Dynamic SQL, Stored Procedures and Python; cloud platforms including Databricks and Snowflake; Automating the production of recurring reports and dashboards using ETL techniques; Utilizing SQL and Robotic Process Automation techniques such as UiPath; Utilizing advanced techniques to process large data sets using data containers, multithreading, and multiprocessing in PySpark; Integrating API solutions to retrieve data and integrate into business intelligence tools; Utilizing machine learning and natural language processing libraries such as Scikit-learn, SciPy, TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, Pandas, CoreNLP, Matplotlib, or Seaborn; Building data pipelines and deploying machine learning models and data visualizations; financial client service analysis and payment processing operations; leading the development of data analysis projects and overseeing collaboration of a cross-functional team.
