Security Officer - First Shift

As a **Security Officer Patrol Customer Service** in **Plainfield, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. **Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour**

Thur05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

Fri05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, warehouse, and/or perimeter areas at a technology-focused location to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.

+ Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support authorized entry procedures and a professional environment for employees and guests.

+ Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders during incidents or routine operations to help address security-related concerns and maintain continuity of operations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
