**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking an **Entry-Level Structural Engineer** for immediate employment in **Pittsburgh, PA** to join our Class I Railroad Team. The role supports public improvement projects across western PA and nearby states.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Review sponsor plans, contractor submissions, and calculations for Railroad impacts and constructability.

+ Conduct 2-3 days/week of on-site monitoring for compliance with Railroad requirements.

+ Coordinate with railroad personnel, sponsors, and contractors during design and construction phases.

+ Maintain accurate project records, ensuring timely delivery of documentation while meeting quality standards.

+ Respond proactively to client requests and input.

+ Assist task leaders with administrative and financial tasks for a General Engineering Contract (GEC).

+ Perform tasks within budget and schedule under supervision.

+ Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Previous internship experience is a plus.

**Additional Information**

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

+ Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

+ This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Pittsburgh, PA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Pittsburgh, PA on a scheduled basis.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $78000 to $82000.
