Speech Language Pathologist

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life.

Every day, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans. You'll contribute clinical expertise to develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols, and actively shape departmental and organizational goals.

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced clinical knowledge, exceptional diagnostic/therapeutic skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

+ Conducts a thorough records review, administers appropriate standardized and non-standardized tools/ methods, also including cultural and linguistic factors, and identifies accurate severity levels.

+ Weighs prognostic factors to formulate prognosis, including developmental and acquired brain injury factors.

+ States measurable short and long term goals targeted at functional outcomes and modifies the plan based on a changing medical condition, needs, progress, and risk factors.

+ Coordinates plans with the interdisciplinary team and makes appropriate referrals to other services as needed.

+ Follows evidence based information for selecting intervention strategies, incorporating age, culture, and linguistic factors and revises treatment interventions appropriately.

+ Applies learning, behavioral, and pragmatic tools and procedures.

**Job Requirements**

Required

+ Masters Other Degree in Speech LanguagePathology from an accredited program and Performs patient clinical care.

+ Serves as aresource by sharing expertise andknowledge.

+ Speech Language Pathologist: AZ, upon hire.

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

**Pay Range**

$55.9528 - $55.9528 /hour
