As a Principal System Engineer - System Safety and Certification here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. You will utilize your expertise in system safety and certification to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your technical leadership and knowledge in systems engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.
You will report directly to our Urban Air Mobility Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, Phoenix location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of system safety and certification processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, develop safety plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your contributions will help drive continuous improvement in safety practices and enhance the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the development and implementation of system safety and certification processes for the Urban Air mobility engineering team

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
+ 10+ years of experience in system safety and certification
WE VALUE
+ Advanced Engineering degree in a relevant field
+ Experience in leading complex system integration projects
