As an **AI Applied Scientist Intern** , you will:

+ Contributes to the design, development, and optimization of AI software solutions including algorithms, frameworks, and AI software architectures across domains such as computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.

+ Assists in implementing and tuning models for performance and accuracy, applied research, and hardware software integration. May also include the creation of AI software solutions in partnership with internal product teams and external partners as well as system level deployment to enable scalable and efficient AI solutions.

+ As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.

**Qualifications:**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education** : PhD student in a STEM field working on applied problems with a strong focus on IP Design and Machine Learning/AI.

+ Completed courses in fundamentals of circuit design for Analog and/or logic IPs

+ Completed courses in fundamentals of Machine Learning/AI

+ 3+ years of relevantexperiencein Python coding or equivalent with multiple ML libraries

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Strong oral and written communications skills and interpersonal skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to learn multiple new areas and make tangible contributions.

+ Strong academic performance record.

+ Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process, microprocessor architecture, and systems integration.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $113,500.00-153,600.00 USD
