CNC Programmer

The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing facility in Perrysburg, Ohio who is looking for a CNC Programmer who wants steady hours, a supportive team, and opportunities to keep growing. If you have experience with fanuc and celos controls, we have the job for you!



Job duties for CNC Programmer:

  • Program CNC turning centers using Fanuc and Celos controls
  • Set up CNC machines from blueprints, including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Edit and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, cycle time, and quality
  • Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and machining methods for various materials
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and safe operation
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
  • Identify and resolve machining or programming issues independently
  • Follow all engineering, safety, and company procedures and standards
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements for CNC Programmers:

  • Minimum 1 year of CNC Programming experience
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Proficiency with Fanuc and Celos CNC controls
  • Solid understanding of CNC turning center operations
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles

Shift for CNC Programmer:

  • Monday–Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
  • Overtime up until 4pm when needed

Pay for CNC Programmer:

  • $19-25/hr based on experience
