The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing facility in Perrysburg, Ohio who is looking for a CNC Programmer who wants steady hours, a supportive team, and opportunities to keep growing. If you have experience with fanuc and celos controls, we have the job for you!
Job duties for CNC Programmer:
- Program CNC turning centers using Fanuc and Celos controls
- Set up CNC machines from blueprints, including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Edit and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, cycle time, and quality
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments
- Select appropriate cutting tools and machining methods for various materials
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and safe operation
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
- Identify and resolve machining or programming issues independently
- Follow all engineering, safety, and company procedures and standards
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements for CNC Programmers:
- Minimum 1 year of CNC Programming experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Proficiency with Fanuc and Celos CNC controls
- Solid understanding of CNC turning center operations
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
Shift for CNC Programmer:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
- Overtime up until 4pm when needed
Pay for CNC Programmer:
- $19-25/hr based on experience
