CNC Programmer

The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing facility in Perrysburg, Ohio who is looking for a CNC Programmer who wants steady hours, a supportive team, and opportunities to keep growing. If you have experience with fanuc and celos controls, we have the job for you!

Job duties for CNC Programmer:

Program CNC turning centers using Fanuc and Celos controls
Set up CNC machines from blueprints, including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Edit and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, cycle time, and quality
Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments
Select appropriate cutting tools and machining methods for various materials
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and safe operation
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
Identify and resolve machining or programming issues independently
Follow all engineering, safety, and company procedures and standards
Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements for CNC Programmers:

Minimum 1 year of CNC Programming experience
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
Proficiency with Fanuc and Celos CNC controls
Solid understanding of CNC turning center operations
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles

Shift for CNC Programmer:

Monday–Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Overtime up until 4pm when needed

Pay for CNC Programmer:

$19-25/hr based on experience
