Lab Tech

**Overview**

Work in the heart of _\#humankindess_ at CHI St. Joseph's Health.

Working as a Med Tech/MLT/LAB Tech at our Critical Access Hospital, you'll perform a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various body fluids in order to expedite the physician’s diagnosis and treatment of patients.

This position is casual as needed...we will hire a MT/MLS, MLT or LAB Tech in this position!

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs job duties of Lab Tech; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

**Qualifications**

+ Associates Degree in MLT OR Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related science from an accredited school.

+ Current certification as one of the following or to be obtained as applicable: Med Tech (Medical Tech), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) OR LAB Tech.

+ Certification by ASCP or NCA.

**Preferred:**

+ Two (2) years of experience.

**Pay Range**

$26.51 - $38.44 /hour
