+ **Provide essential direct patient care** including assisting with ADLs, personal care, feeding, and comfort measures, ensuring patient dignity and well-being.

+ **Monitor and document vital signs** and other patient data (e.g., intake/output, weight), promptly reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff.

+ **Assist with patient mobility and transport** , safely transferring and ambulating patients, and preparing them for examinations, procedures, and discharge.

+ **Support clinical procedures** under RN direction, including basic wound care, specimen collection, and assisting with application of medical devices.

+ **Maintain an organized and safe Emergency Department environment** , including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring unit readiness.

+ **Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team** , communicating patient needs, supporting rapid patient flow, and adhering to all safety and hospital policies.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 30 Days
