As our Oncology Social Worker you will Champion patient and family well-being through expert psychosocial support within an integrated cancer care framework. This vital role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals navigating cancer treatment, providing essential resources and compassionate guidance. You'll play a pivotal part in a multidisciplinary team, directly contributing to a patient-centered healing environment and addressing the holistic needs of our oncology population across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Every day you will Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments, deploy evidence-based clinical interventions, and meticulously coordinate referrals to critical community resources and financial assistance programs. You'll actively engage in reviewing and responding to psychosocial distress screenings, facilitate vital support groups, and educate clinical staff on the profound emotional and social impacts of cancer. Your daily contributions will involve detailed documentation, participation in quality initiatives, and fostering collaborative partnerships to ensure seamless patient care and advocacy.

+ Current social work licensure in applicable state (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent preferred)

+ Experience in oncology, medical social work, hospice, palliative care, or behavioral health preferred

+ Knowledge of community resources, financial assistance programs, and supportive care services

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

+ Ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism, and cultural humility
