As a Front Desk Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access activity, monitor the front entrance, and support day-to-day security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. **Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals and deliveries.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Support front desk operations in a logistics and distribution location by answering inquiries, documenting security-related activity, and reporting unusual behavior, damaged property, and/or unauthorized access attempts.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
