**Responsibilities**

Complete CNA coursework while you work at CHI as a Healthcare Support Tech. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience to aid in the successful completion of the CNA Advance program. If you have a desire to advance your career in a healthcare community paired with a strong work history and customer service skills, we want to talk to you.

**What you’ll do:**

+ Screen employees, patients, and guests before gaining admittance to our facilities.

+ Contribute to a culture of safety by providing assistance to coworkers in use of personal protective equipment.

+ Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas. Restocks supplies and rotates inventory.

+ Facilitate effective communication by fielding incoming calls, accepting and communicating with visitors, and relaying pertinent information to appropriate staff.

+ **Actively participate in ongoing education to take and pass the CNA state exam in order to transition to a CNA role.**

**Qualifications**

**What you’ll need:**

+ CNA course completion and obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire

**Preferred Skills/Experience**

+ Critical thinking

+ Professional verbal and written communication

+ Customer service, guest service/hospitality experience
