Security Officer - Patrol Driver Associate
As a **Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate** in **Normal, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an automotive location.
+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
+ Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with post instructions, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
+ Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
