JOB DESCRIPTION – Manager, Analytics Consulting
Position Summary:
The Manager – Analytics Consulting leads a high-performing team of analytics and business intelligence professionals responsible for delivering innovative data solutions and reporting for UKG products, including UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, and UKG DataHub. Leveraging tools such as IBM Cognos, BIRT, Power BI, and GCP BigQuery, this role ensures the successful execution of analytics initiatives and the first-level support for custom solutions deployed to UKG customers.
This role partners closely with cross-functional leadership to manage project pipelines, prioritize team workload, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The Manager fosters a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and employee engagement, driving customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of analytics consultants and BI specialists, providing clear goals, regular feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Oversee the delivery of analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and customer expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast monthly delivery plans and allocate resources based on skills, experience, and availability.
Monitor project progress, proactively remove roadblocks, and ensure timely and successful delivery of all initiatives.
Track team performance and productivity metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Promote adherence to best practices, methodologies, and governance standards across all analytics projects.
Maintain fiscal responsibility and manage team budgets effectively.
Support and enhance the customer experience by ensuring timely resolution of issues and promoting solution adoption.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications:
13+ years of experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence, including 3+ years in a people management role.
Proven experience in developing and deploying data warehouse and reporting solutions.
Hands-on expertise with tools such as IBM Cognos, BIRT, Power BI, and familiarity with GCP BigQuery or similar platforms.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Familiarity with Python is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with global teams, including flexibility to collaborate with peers in the US and Australia.
