**Electrical Engineer**

**Overview**

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an **Electrical Engineer** to support a multidisciplinary engineering organization delivering commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, government, and infrastructure projects. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer looking to expand their technical expertise while contributing to complex projects in a collaborative consulting environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and coordination of electrical building systems, supporting project execution from concept through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers, clients, architects, and project teams while developing technical and project management skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Electrical Engineering & Design**

+ Design power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary electrical systems for a variety of facility types.

+ Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

+ Assist in the development of construction documents and engineering deliverables.

+ Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.

+ Review project requirements and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

+ Support studies and analysis related to electrical system performance and reliability.

+ Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and construction support activities.

**Project Execution**

+ Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and budget objectives.

+ Assist with project planning, design coordination, and deliverable preparation.

+ Participate in design reviews and quality control processes.

+ Respond to RFIs and assist with resolving construction-related issues.

+ Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout execution.

**Client & Team Collaboration**

+ Work directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.

+ Support proposal preparation and project pursuit efforts.

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.

+ Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Professional Development**

+ Continue developing technical expertise and industry knowledge.

+ Participate in mentoring opportunities with senior engineering staff.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing efforts.

+ Pursue professional licensure and career development goals.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

+ 5 to 10 years of electrical engineering experience.

+ Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, industrial, or government facilities.

+ Working knowledge of NEC and applicable industry codes and standards.

+ Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

+ Familiarity with electrical analysis and design software.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.

+ Experience with lighting design and electrical power distribution systems.

+ Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering projects.

+ Exposure to construction administration and field support activities.

+ Experience preparing engineering studies and technical reports.

+ Participation in professional engineering organizations.
